  • Sewing machine

    INTRO TO SEWING CLASS: 01/07/26

    Perfect class for those who just got a machine and don't know how it works, or are wanting to get into sewing but don t know where to start. We will be covering sewing machine setup and going over several different stitch types, using small easy projects to set in the skill. Class is on a Wednesday from 6-8pm.

  • Make your own fleece hat.

    HEMMING PANTS AND JEANS : 02/04/26

    Most people need jeans shortened or let out. Learning to do this yourself—or for friends and family—is a useful skill. This class teaches two hemming methods and basic pants-altering techniques to help you alter many garments.Class is on a Wednesday from 6-8pm.

  • PATCHES LAID ON A TABLE

    DIY PATCHES AND DESIGNS 02/18/26

    Rework your clothing, give gifts to friends, make art out fo clothing scraps and more in this unique to Madrona Wear sewing class. Patches don’t have to be made with high tech embroidery machines, they can also be made with scrap materials or meaningful pieces of fabric. We love making these quick patches for rework projects, repairs, and customizing gear. Class is on a Wednesday from 6-8pm.

  • Patching jeans and denim 03/11/2026

    Everyone has jeans, and everyone's jeans rip. In this Madrona class we will be teaching people how to darn and patch tears and rips in denim and canvas. Easily one of the best sewing classes a person can take to help extend the life of their clothing. Class is on a Wednesday from 6-8pm.

    Intro to Hand Sewing: 03/18/2026

    Learn practical hand-sewing skills to repair and extend the life of your clothing. This hands-on class focuses on mending sweaters, pants, and other essential garments, covering techniques for fixing holes, reinforcing worn areas, and repairing seams and hems.
